Microsoft Dynamics Nav Integration Feature Requests

Drop Shipment Functionality To Web Ordering.

To allow shipping stock to customers directly from suppliers

Requirement: Delivering Stock Straight From Supplier

To pass the following two elements per stock line we want to be delivered straight from the supplier:

<xsd:element name="Purchasing_Code" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0"/>  "DROPSHIP_A" – this enables us to use NAV automatic Purchase orders generation based on requisition worksheet functionality

<xsd:element name="Location_Code" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0"/> SUB CON – we have to use different fulfilment location to be able to bypass any standard Warehouse restrictions on order generation

The above two elements should only be set this way for lines that can be fulfilled by the supplier, all other lines on the order should retain original set of parameters (ie Location Code = WAREHOUSE).

We will have put logic in Magento to change parameters for the specific lines, We will have a Boolean type set against every product to represent Drop shipment so the site admin can manage selection themself, whenever this is set to true lines would be synced using specified parameters.

Special Delivery For Made To Order

To future proof we will add another Boolean value against each item which would indicate Special Delivery for made to order items. This would change values Magento passes to NAV in the following way:

<xsd:element name="Purchasing_Code" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0"/>  " SPECIAL_A"

<xsd:element type="xsd:boolean" name="Special_Order" maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0"/> “1”

<xsd:element name="Location_Code" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="0"/> “WAREHOUSE”
